Poem - Some Say

I wonder how school is like?
Some say it is a place to study,
Some say it is a place to have fun,
But my parents say it is a balance of both worlds.

I wonder how pupils in school are like?
Some say they are very friendly and good people,
Some say they are evil and backstab you all the time,
But my parents say they are the ones that accompany you through your hard times.

I wonder how teachers are like?
Some say they are as fierce as tigers,
Some say they are lovely like the roses,
but my parents say they are nice if you do your work on time.

I wonder how the canteen is like?
Some say the food is oily and unhealthy,
Some say the food is nice and fresh,
But my parents say “be selective of what you eat and you will be healthy”.

Oh, now that I know,
that
school is a place for both study and fun,
get new friends,
cooperate with the teachers,
and eat healthily.

I can’t wait to go to school!
