Quote of the day #1

Image
True right? Similar to the quote from Ki-woo's father in movie Parasite (2019). Sometimes a good quote will transpire over time 😊 Read the full movie review here: https://botakheadisfashion.blogspot.com/2020/03/movie-lesson-2-parasite-2019.html

Movie Lesson 3: Cars 3 (Spooky Illuminati of Threes here!)

Image
Since it's the Covid-19 outbreak, I managed to catch another movie within the comfort of home! Cars 3! This movie is not so my favourite but still I loved to write a reflection on what I learned through watching this movie! Alert,  spoilers ahead ! #Lesson 1: Always Believe in Yourself People would always criticize or make comments on people who succeed/ better than them. So, other than God, always believe that in yourself! You success relies heavily on whether you believe you can or cannot. Cruz(yellow car) did not believe herself can become a racer one day. But Lightning McQueen gave her the injection of confidence to help her find her own self-confidence. But remember, people like Lightning McQueen is seldom to find in real life! People will bash your faith in you, whether purposely or not. Be confident about your self! #Lesson 2: It's Never too Late to Follow Your Dreams Do you remember your childhood dreams? your childhood dreams most likely will not success as y...

Movie Lesson 2: Parasite (2019)

Image
Just by looking at the cover.... don't you think it's a horror movie? Then I search through the details of the movie: found out that it is under the category of comedy, horror. So i decided to give it a try! (since it is the Restricted Movement Order). PARASITE is a roller-coaster ride with twist after twist and it won our hearts not just by being entertaining, but a shocking reflection of class disparity and helplessness of the lower class society. Here's what I found out after watching the movie. Alert: Spoilers Ahead! 1. Learn to Earn Money through the Right Way 君子爱财,取之有道 The poor family, the Kim's, con their way into becoming servants of a rich family, the Parks. The male character in the movie (Ki Woo) forged his university certificate to get the job as an English home tutor for Da-hye (the rich man's daughter). Afterwards, he fooled the rich family to hire his sister(art therapist), father(driver), then mother (as housekeeper). We must...

Movie Lesson: Pixar's Inside Out

Image
Inside Out(2015) was a great movie that I watched today. I never get to watch it when it first released,  It was an "old" movie I guess but I think it's alright to turn our head once or twice for classics! Overall, it was a great movie! This movie is rated 8.2/10 on IMDb tho! If you haven't seen the movie, it tells the story of the emotional life of an 11-year-old girl, Riley, by showing each of her main emotions as a character. Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear, and Disgust work as a team, taking turns at Riley's control panel (which guides Riley's behavior) while consulting and debating with each other on how to handle different situations in Riley's life. Alright, so let's get straight to the point: Lessons I Learn from this movie! Alert: Spoilers Ahead! 1. There's no happiness if there's no sad: There are all feelings that we go through! Like a favourite quote of mine: There's no rainbow without a storm. Every feeling is ...
